This soft, low-energy meditation was born from honesty; this – for me – is a week when hope feels too heavy.
I need to rest, to listen to my own voice, to remember that I’m human.
If you’ve felt the same, this space is for you. It’s not about trying to be hopeful or productive. It’s about exhaling, about letting your heart unclench, about resting without apology.
For this week, this will be the only meditation. Because sometimes, the kindest thing we can do — even for those we care for — is to pause.
To whisper softly: I’m still here. Just slower.
You can read it here in your own rhythm, or listen to it on Youtube (5:16 minutes).
When Hope Feels Too Heavy
A soft meditation for tired hearts — permission to rest without forcing light.
Welcome, my dear.
If this week feels heavy,
if your body moves slower than usual,
if even small things take effort —
that’s okay.
You don’t have to be productive to have worth.
You don’t have to keep proving your strength.
You are still here.
You are still becoming.
Some weeks aren’t about climbing or striving.
Some weeks are for breathing,
for letting the dust settle,
for remembering who you are beneath all the trying.
Maybe nothing feels bright right now.
Maybe the world looks grey and distant.
Maybe you’re not ready to bloom —
and that’s okay, too.
Even the quiet ground holds life.
Even the resting seed still carries growth within.
Breathe in gentleness.
Breathe out pressure.
Breathe in stillness.
Breathe out the weight of expectation.
Your heart has worked hard to hold everything together.
It’s allowed to slow down.
It’s allowed to ache.
It’s allowed to rest without guilt.
If you can, let your shoulders drop a little.
Unclench your jaw.
Feel your breath find its own pace.
You don’t have to control it.
You just have to let it happen.
The world will wait.
You don’t have to rush back into motion.
Even stillness is progress when it comes from care.
This week, let the small things count —
the sunlight through your window,
a moment of silence that didn’t feel empty,
a single deep breath that reached all the way down.
You’re doing enough.
You are enough.
It’s not a setback to rest.
It’s the body remembering how to heal.
Maybe the only thing you manage today
is to listen to this.
That’s already something kind.
That’s already care.
You are allowed to stop.
You are allowed to take up space,
even in quiet ways.
When you’re ready,
take one more slow breath.
Inhale softness.
Exhale self-judgment.
And let this truth settle deep within you:
You are still here.
You are still becoming.
And that is enough.
Be beautifully, irrevocably you, my dear.
